Why is it important to utilize preventative measures when it comes to the care of our health? Because when we do not keep our overall health in good shape, we are prone to emergency measures which are usually implemented after the damage is done. To avoid emergency measures, keep your immune system and your body-mind-spirit in good health by eating food that nourishes you! You are worth it! Fresh vegetables are very important and including them in each meal will help to keep your body and immune system healthy. (Planting your own garden is a great way to get fresh, organic vegetables in your diet). Also, lower your sugar intake as well as sodium and fat. Consider the following, when you think about preventing health emergencies:
