The video is gone... how I usually sheet mulch is
1. start a hot compost pile... that will create a new spot in 3-4 months for me.
2. Cardboard with stuff on top of it to hold it down at first, then pile on straw and grass clippings.
This year I dug holes in the grass for my new tomato patch, then I put down cardboard and straw/grass around them... they look great. When I compost the cardboard and straw next year I'll have another garden patch there.
